I'm having a party this weekend and I was look for a good deal on wine. I found this deal on 12 bottles of international wine for only £44.00. Usually the 12 bottles cost over £100. Delivery is free and the different wines are very interesting. Something for men, something for ladies. Just perfect!

    The bottles are 75cl and you can choose from 6 red, 6 white or 6 rose. Cheers! Great find!:beer:

    Tesco wine: not very impressive.

    For a similar price (but not including delivery) you could get some really enjoyable wine from Laithwaite's.

    Actually there are some good wines in the selection like the Spencer Bay 2009 Chardonnay 2009 from South Africa, the Chileno 2006 Cabernet Merlot 2006 from Chile or the Nepenthe Tryst 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon from Australia. I want to get my hands on those for under £4 the bottle. The regular price starts at £7 :D

    Sorry but in my experience of Laithwaites, their wine is no more impressive than any I've bought elsewhere, and at the prices they charge (roughly double this deal), not cheap either.

    At least you can return it, no questions asked, if you don't like it (which I have done, several times).

    The code is surely for customers who've never ordered wine before, fyi. I used on it a secondary Tesco account and it worked fine.

    It worked for me, and I have ordered lots in the past. Not ordered any recently (had it all for free from Mr T's LOL!), so may just have been lucky!
