By submitting your entry form, you consent to the Promoter using your personal data details for the purpose of fulfilling this competition. The closing date for receipt of entry forms is 31st December 2011 (�Closing Date�). 6. The winner will be the first correct answer chosen at random on or after 31st December 2011 under the supervision of an independent observer. 7. The Promoter�s decision is final and no correspondence shall be entered into. 8. The winner shall be notified by email by 31st January 2012 9. The prize is the use of your name in a forthcoming Chris Carter novel and a free copy of the same novel in hardback format, signed by the author. 10. The novel your name will be used in will be specified upon notification of the winner. 11. The winner agrees to the name being used for any character the Promoter chooses, and the winner cannot specify a character for the name to be used on. 12. By entering, the winner agrees that no resemblance between themselves or the chosen character is delineated by the use of their name. 13. The name given must be your registered name in the UK or Ireland and will not be used if deemed by the Promoter to be overtly humorous, offensive or derogatory. 14. For one [1] month after notification, the winner has the option to withdraw their entry. 15. The prize is as stated and is non-transferable. No cash alternatives will be offered. If, due to circumstances beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter is unable to provide the stated prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award an alternative prize of equal or greater value. 16.
