Feedback etiquette question

Simple story, Bought an item off ebay - BIN, which didn't arrive, The seller has sold dozens of the item, and still has more listed, and i firmly believe it was sent but 'lost' in the post.

Really nice guy, offered me replacement as soon as I queried the delivery but as it was for a gift and would have been too late I asked for a refund - again promptly given.

What's the etiquette on leaving feedback in a case like this? Obviously have had no item to rate but the seller has been great otherwise - any thoughts? & remember it's nice to be nice! :D

Remark about things outside the control of the seller would be harsh.
Remarks about how the seller handled the problem and after care would be nice.

Personally I would leave positive feedback commenting on how helpful the seller was and leave 5 stars for communication and no stars for any of the other ratings which then doesn't affect them negatively in any way.

I actually think I would give them 5 stars for everything if they had been that helpful even if 3 of the categories are effectively irrelevant.
