buyer has zero feedback, worried about getting ripped off
I said in the listing that it would be sent recorded delivery, but it doesn't matter if I change it to Special delivery does it?
Unfortunately it's too late for me to update the item description with a note about the serial number, etc. But I will send the buyer an email telling them that I have posted it by Special and made a note of the serial number. I hope that's enough.
Try wording that a bit differently. When selling mobile phones, I mail them and give the tracking details and imei number of the phone. Telling them you have "made a note" proves nothing and can put a buyer's nose out of joint.
Try looking at this from a different angle. New buyers are good news. The more people who join and use ebay, the merrier.
Most people clamber on to a plane without knowing a thing about the pilot. yet selling to a novice buyer freaks them out.
agreed the 0 feedback buyers have to start somewhere.. ive just had a right carry on with a 0 feedback buyer and my fiesta i listed on the bay.. all was good until they stopped answering emails and phone calls. answered no problems on sunday then i rang to confirm a rough time and they never answerd the phone or even turned up today NPB for them grrr
