Paypal - confused...

I bought an item last Sat and paid immediately. Today having not received it I had a look to see if it had been dispatched. Box not checked as dispatched but then noticed item has not been paid. About to pay then thought I MUST have paid as I always do. Checked in Paypal and payment was made. Any idea as to what has happened??

It could be an echeque payment. It won't mark as paid until the payment has cleared. Have you recently added a new card or changed details?

On eBay you can actually 'unmark payment as sent' - so you or the seller may have accidently done this. It's very easy to do accidently and I've done it myself once.

You say you have not received the item, so it may well be that the seller did this and didnt realise this - so he/she has not dispatched your item as of yet?

So, if you didn't pay by echeque it may be worth checking this with the seller by just sending them an email stating that you sent payment to them on the date you did and ask them if they can kindly confirm receipt of it.

Also contact your seller. Was it marked paid at their end? If there's any problem then the seller won't open a NPB if they know there's a glitch.

Definately didn't pay be e-cheque. Have emailed them so will wait and see.
