Hi all
Is there a freeware app that gives you some more options than windows when you copy files from one place to another?
I am making backups of some websites I spidered. There are often highly nested sets of folders and sometimes a filename in an unsuppored language or which has been corrupted. When windows comes across this it just aborts the entire job and the only way around it is to manually drill down and copy all the files except the offending one, which takes soddin' hours of effort. Is there a way of getting it to just ignore uncopyable files?
while I'm here, is there something with some more copy options, like, say, just "copy all non-identical files" when there is an existing destination folder. I don't want to go the full press-a-single-button-to-autosynch route, I want more control and options than that.

I've used Teracopy with good effect.0

FreeFileSynch is a good open-source tool for backing up directories, etc.0

Another vote for teracopy, fast and lots of useful features. It will do the things you want it to (copy all non-duplicate files, and not aborting the copy when it hits an error). There's a portable version if you want to try it out without installing.poppy100
