Problem with picture on new lcd tv

I have just set up my brand new LG 47LD450 LCD tv and have noticed a problem with the colours on screen. The right hand side of the screen is a few shades darker than the left which is creating a noticeable vertical line right down the centre of the screen. It is more obvious when there are block colours showing, white looks light grey on the right side.

Could this be a fault with the TV or is it something I can adjust myself? I have checked that all the cables are pushed right in but apart from that I'm unsure what to do. I have looked at the troubleshooting section of the manual but no help there!

Many thanks,

Carole

Yep, sounds like a fault with the LCD panel for that section.

Contact the place you purchased it from and they should just replace it.

Thanks Steve, was hoping I wasn't going to have to return it but suspected I might :(.
