Laptop Purchase

I'm looking to purchase a new laptop and I've seen a model that I'm interested in.

I can get it from Dixons for £415 using the 8% discount code (this excludes Quidco @ 3%).
The same model but with a faster processor from Amazon is £460 or £500 from John Lewis with a 2 year guarantee.

I just need some advice on what sort of after sales service this companies have should anything go wrong.

Thank you

Ive dealt with John Lewis for laptops and can say that John Lewis' service has always been without a doubt, top notch. I recently purchased a Acer laptop from them and it had a dead pixel on the screen, which although wasnt right in the middle, still bugged me for a new product. Took it back to the store and they swapped it for a new one, no questions asked. Most manufacterers have tolerances for things like dead pixels and push their policies onto retailers too (usually one dead pixel is considered normal) but John Lewis considered this as a fault and were happy to resolve. A couple of weeks later the same laptop started getting very hot. Again, took it back and they offered to replace with a alternative product. Not really their fault on the problems but happy with their customer service.
