Isa renewal

Hi just needed some advice on when i should renew my isa. i currently have my isa with nationwide, and had a basic cash isa until july of 2010 when i changed it to a champions isa, with april the 5 approching do i change before or after or do i wait a 12 months till july 2011 to change?

i believe the champions isa with nationwide has quite a good interest rate, but it has a 60 day withdrawal, which isnt a major but if there is better interest isa coming out without a time limit on withdrawal then i would prefer to change, for easy access.

many thanks for advice in advances

The champions ISA has a rate of 2.76% for balances £1000+.

You can get Halifaxs Direct 4 ISA at 3% which is instant access.

Well it depends if you are happy with the rate you are getting at the moment. As Lokolo :D says, the Halifax ISA pays 3% so you would be earning more interest if you transfered your ISA accross to them :j

NO you don't need to wait, you can transfer your ISA as many times as you like, ISA transfers don't count towards your annual ISA allowance. So long as the champions ISA doesn't have any restrictions then you should be able to transfer right now :j
  • ok i appreciate the advice. so you would recommend moving from my champion isa to halifax, does it accept excisting isa transfers ?

Yes, that's why we recommended it as it is the highest paying ISA which DOES accept transfers in.
