problems obtaining mortgage - other options

I have just sold my house and looking to purchase a new one but have found I cannot get a mortgage due to 2 ccjs from my business (im self employed) issued within the last 12 months. These have both been cleared and certificates of satisfaction issued and all my credit cards etc have been paid off so I thought I could starting afresh, although its taking a long time for my credit report to be updated with current info.
I may have enough money to buy a house that needs renovating and wondered if I would be able to then apply for a secured loan against the new house which would be a cash purchase until my credit file improves and I can change to standard mortgage. Any suggestions please

  • Largely you're stuffed unless they were satisfied within a month and can therefore be removed. Failing that, you are stuck with them for 6 years !

Sub prime lender at high interest rates and low LTV but not now and perhaps not for another 2 years.
