Cheapest Android Phone?

I'm looking for a new contract, possibly sim only, that gives unlimited texts, about 200 minutes and some internet. I'm looking to spend about £10 a month. I've seen that GiffGaf and Tesco do £10 sim but I am unsure what phone to then buy?

Depending on your budget, but I'd recommend the following:
Samsung Galaxy S I9000 - £200-250 on eBay
- I have the Galaxy S and very highly recommend it. Its probably the best phone i've ever had. Only thing I don't like about it is the lack of camera flash.
Samsung Galaxy Europa I5500 - £89.99 from Carphonewarehouse (on T-mobile Pay as you go but can use a T-mobile contract sim on it)
HTC Wildfire - £155 from Phones4u (on T-mobile Pay as you go but can use a T-mobile contract sim on it)0 -
You'd be better posting on the mobiles board, but....
Samsumg Galaxy Portal re-furb at 3 is about £15 a month for unlimited texts, 1GB internet and about 500 mins of calls. Phone is free on that deal. (might be a bit cheaper too, going off vague memory!) :cool:0 -
For sim-only, look at T-Mobile Pulse. Cheapest Android at under £30.
Old version of software (1.6) and not sure if upgradeable, but very, very cheap.0 -

Cheapest is the T-Mobile Pulse Mini, best value for money is the Orange San Francisco.
Best value PAYG is Giffgaff I think. Tis why I joined 'em!0 -
anyone know if you can get the t mobile mini pulse unlocked? seems quite a good buy0

I'll add another voice in support of the Wildfire. I replaced my iPhone with this after it broke and although it's a budget smartphone I don't think I'd go back to Apple. The only sacrifice I've had to make it the screen quality, but I can live with that. It's a fantastic phone for someone on a budget, and I can't speak more highly of the Android OS either.0 -
