Quick question,

Is it possible to reclaim Bank charges back from a Halifax reward current Account???

What kind of bank charges?

Or do you mean fees for services provided, such as use of an overdraft facility whether authorised or not?

If the bank has made an error - then yes as it is not your fault.

Othewise I very much doubt it as they are the terms and conditions of the account which you agreed to when you set the account up.

Sometimes though it is worth looking at the bigger picture, for example if they paid a direct debit which took you over your limit, although you may incur the £5 per daily fee, in hindsight you could have avoided fees through the direct debit company for missed payments.

Best advice is to either sign up for mobile text alerts or just do not use the overdraft, or if you find you are in the overdraft a lot look at the Ultimate Reward Account as the first £300 is fee free.

If they are overdraft fees, and it's the first time you've asked for these fees to be refunded then they will most likely re compensate you for some or all of the charges as a good will gesture, but this means you will never be able to reclaim back charges again on the account, unless the bank has made a serious error.
