Post Office Budget Card - Problem Paying Car Tax

Hi, I have been using the PO Budget Card to save money each month, in order to pay our Car Tax. Car Tax is now due but when I tried to use my card to pay it wouldn't work and now it is locked!
Has anyone else had similar problem and if so how do I sort it? The PO say it is locked for a week! I have all my receipts putting the money on the card so can prove it is there, but the PO Budget Card people are very unhelpful, please can anyone give any advice to sort this out! Thanks

Did they state why it was locked?
Was it a wrong PIN - if so you can do nothing but wait the week - maybe its time you put the money in a bank/building society account to prevent this happening again?0 -
No, don't think it was the PIN though, even the PO counter staff couldn't get clear information from the Budget Card helpdesk! I would definately advise anyone against using these cards! I will find another way of saving in future. My problem now is I have all this money on the card I can't be sure if when I try and use it next week it will even work!0

You must have a point of contact surely - a phone number or something from the terms and conditions you signed up for?0

Yes of course, but they are unwilling to do anything, even though the problem is clearly theirs.0
