It's company policy that for refund you get the money back how you paid for it (Cash for Cash, Card for card, Giftcard to giftcard etc)
It was within warranty, but since we no longer stocked the scales. There was little I could do.
Sorry I missed the bit that it wasn't purchased on his card.
I carry my husbands card around with me, and he carries mine if we go out. Thank you to everyone!

It's fine, wasn't having a go at youWe have loads of couples with each others cards but they accept the fact that if a signature is needed then they cannot use the card.
I try to help as much as I can. But I'm also honest and speak my mind.

Someone said this of me the other day - I can easily walk without my sticks, hardly ever support my weight on them, so why am I using them? In my case, my sticks are there for balance. I'm not doubting that this woman (like the man in the OP) was just rude (because not all disabled people are angels - some of us are the grumpy :mad::mad:s that we were before disability), just want to say that not all sticks/crutches etc are because people need to put weight on them, and not all wheelchairs are because people can't walk.We may not have it all together, but together we have it all

ha that's true, I experienced that briefly when I injured my foot a few years ago, I could walk but it was agony. My parents took me out shopping, we got to the massive supermarket and I ended up borrowing one of the shops electric buggies as there was no way I could have walked round it without really hurting myself, and if the option is there, why not take the help? You should have seen people's faces when I stood up out of it to reach things on high shelves. If dirty looks could kill...
I suppose the point of this thread is that disabled people are just people. Some are lovely, some are horrible, and most are somewhere in between just like the rest of us!Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j
