Hello everybody
I am looking to find a rear facing pushchair (so I can smile and talk to bubs as I push him/her
) however there doesn't seem to be loads of choice.
Can anybody recommend a rear facing pushchair?
Thank you in advance
Bams x

Hi,
Good recent discussion on this topic here:

I've had both the bugaboo bee and currently have the stokke xplory and i love them both! expensive but as pp said you can buy secondhand and they resell for a decent amount too. Worth it to have baby parent facing , i've never had my two facing away from me , feels weird too!0

I've just bought an OBaby, a Boots own make, for my grandson as I look after him two days a week. It is very easy to make it switch from a pushchair to a pram if he falls asleep. He is only 11 months old.0

I have the Silver Cross Sleepover (a bit like the 3D only IMO better) and it can be parent- or forward-facing for as long as you want. I usually have DD (20 months) facing me as she likes to chat, and sometimes turn her forward like today when we went to the park, because I was feeling ill and not chatty, and it was such a novelty for her she just chatted away giving a commentary on everything she could see!
I also love the Sleepover because I can lay her totally flat when she goes to sleep, so I feel she is more comfortable than children I see in buggies with their heads lolling forward. I'd hate to sleep like that so I don;t want my Dd sleeping like it either! DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

I absolutely DO NOT recommend the B-Smart, I loved it but I wouldn't risk my baby's safety on it now. I've had the handle break dangerously off mine when I was easing it up a kerb when it was only 2 months old. The second one arrived with the handle snapped so I guess that tells you something about the quality of the materials/build.
I currently have the Graco Symbio and have been using it for about 4 months. I really like it and no complaints so far other than it's not as good off road as I would like. I do have a big, muckle, forward facing Graco Quattro though if I *really* wanted to go off road.
You really need to take into account what you use it for, off road/shopping centres/bus/in and out of car etc before you choose one. And do try it, ideally with a borrowed baby in, or at least a heavy handbag - I found some buggies a lot harder to handle with a weight in them than without. Worth considering.0 -
silver cross surf is parent facing, i like the pushchair but dont like the silver cross car seat that comes with it, baby kicks the cover off as its flimpsy velcro and the hood has to be removed to put the seat belt on.
But the pushchair is good, though pricey, my MIL got it for me and I much prefer my 2nd jane proslalom, not parent facing as a pushchair but is with lie flat car seatsomething missing0 -

The Surf does look good, but it has a tiny tiny basket - my Sleepover will take loads of shopping and I wouldn;t be without a decent basket! Does depend what you use it for but I hardly ever use the car so a pushcair that doubles as a shopping trolley is essential :rotfl::cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j
