Hi.
This is a duped thread with another in Discussion Time as i wasn't sure where to post it.
I am soon to setup a new facebook page for a website. Is there a way i can invite multiple people not on my contact list from a certain area to like or subscribe to my page..? for instance send an invite to everyone in portsmouth..?

I don't think you can. I don't even think you can suggest a "Like" Page to people from your contacts.
The "Like" page is for businesses. It is much harder to get people to "Like" your page, because the only way you can promote it, beside your website is advertisement on facebook.
Otherwise you can set up a Friends page, then you can invite whomever you want. As far as I know you cannot find people per city. What you can do though if you have a Friends page is find local facebook Groups that are located in the area you are looking for, and invite these people to become friends with you.
Hope it all makes sense.0 -

Yep, easy. Create the page as you would a normal profile, then search for people who live in Portsmouth and make friends with them...hopefully!Estate Agent, Web Designer & All Round Geek!0

You can invite people to a 'like' page if you are the administrator - there is the option on there to 'suggest to friends' so you can send it to everyone in your contacts.
I'm not aware of any way to promote it to people outside of your contacts other than an advert."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0
