As above has anyone visited this year if so is there anything worth seeing or any good freebies?

we went yesterday, MSE freebie

Not that many freebies, although the food hall does have quite a few goodies, and plenty of tipples to try - loved the toffee vodka

Upstairs is quite crowded (lots of stalls and narrower walkways), so do that first. It also gets very hot up there with all the cooking going on. We did this and came downstairs in the afternoon. The best decision of the day.

It took 50 minutes to queue and go around all 3 showhouses.

Downstairs are the DIY, utility companies and home improvements - always loads of 'hard sell' tactics going on which did get a bit annoying after a while.

You could spend a small fortune if you let your guard down, I love the kitchen gadgets - but resisted everyone yesterday.

The best freebies were the relaxation seats/beds and massage places, most gave them for free

The weirdest stalls have the new 'feet cleaning' fish in tanks. If you fancy trying this do look around, there are lots of different prices per minute. We didn't go for that but they were very popular and had stalls both up and downstairs.

It was a great day out as we only had transport costs, not sure I would have paid to go though.
