Best Balance Transfer for Student

in Credit cards
Hi There
I am currently on a RBS card which I used one summer a couple of years ago during a lack of funds during the summer vacation.
I've accumulated around £300 of debt on this credit card and have just been told the rate is going upto just over 20% on this card.
I'm in the final year of university but am looking to balance transfer this amount to a new card, preferably one that has 0% APR for a number of months, as it won't be too long until I pay it off (say maybe 6 months maximum.)]
So I can look at paying the amount off without earning interest that negates the use of any minimum payment.
I have always paid the minimum payment and haven't actually spent on the card for two years. I have looked at a few cards and seen that their minimum criteria is £10,000 pa earnings, I earn't approximatley £4,000 in the last year from part time and freelance work.
Can anyone suggest a card that will let me balance transfer with my criteria?
Thanks

Hi there,
I am also a student, in a fairly similar situation. I applied for a Barclaycard Initial card, which arrived in the post this morning. Although it will say on their website that it is 29.9% APR, I was given an offer to claim a balance transfer of up to £360, which would then be fixed at 6.9% APR til paid off. In your case this would only generate £1.50 interest/month.
I would imagine that this balance transfer offer is applicable to all new customers, but cannot guarantee it.Debt
