Flueless gas fires - do they cause condensation?

We are considering buying one of the modern flueless gas fires but we both suffer from asthma.
With convential gas fires the resultant water from burning gas escapes via the flue or chimney.
The sellers of these flueless gas fires say the catalyst removes the harmful gases and then waffle about the water vapour.
Has anybody got one installed and noticed an increase in condensation or does anybody know what happens to the water?
All info appreciated.

You might find it difficult to get a qualified engineer to fit the fire, as all the engineers we know (including my husband) will not fit them, due to queries over safety aspects.0

We've got one, you have to have a air brick installed within a certain distance of the fire, all has been fine.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 092

Hi,
We had one installed last month and have had no probs with condensation..by law you need to have an air brick and a vent fitted to an outside wall of the room first..otherwise no plumber will fit it. We were abit worried that having an air brick and vent might defeat the purpose of the fire..but have found that you don't feel any colder or draughtier atall!
Helen xlove my little man he is amazing :j0
