Homeserve - all in 1 bargain £7.99 per month

I had four homeserve policies running and quite frankly, £10.50 per month to ensure emergency plumbing on this years renewal was too much, I also had electricical cover, drain cover and other plumbing cover and totalled £27 per month. I rang yesterday to cancel my £10.50 policy and when they asked me why, I just said I can get it cheaper at British Gas and that I intended to cancel them all one by one when they were up for renewal. The chap then offered to merge all policies and give me additional roof and rodent cover for an all in one price of £7.99 a month!! saving me nearly £240 a year!!

Pays not to automatically renew and question them - try it and you maybe lucky too - when I rang up just to enquire about the same all in one policy, they quoted me a lot of money, so I am really pleased. Plus I have called them out 3 times this year too!!

I think I took something similar, boiler, radiatorz, pipes, plumbing, roof and electic cover and the rodent thing. Mine was half price a £9/month. But quidco were doing an offer where you get £60 cashback so my £108/ year policy will only cost me £48 for this year.

Shows companies are happy to rip you off until you say your leaving.... glad you got a good deal though!
