Dr Web now requires you to fill in a form before downloading it

at least it doesn't send an e-mail link you have to download from.....

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple :D

yeah, but that's well out-of-date. The point is now, it makes it less portable. I used to keep an copy on a USB stick for home visits where you could just update (i.e. download the latest one) from a prompt within the prog, but the license expires on the later versions, so you have to keep filling in the form now before you can download the latest :(

    You mean this:

(I've been using this direct link for weeks; just captured it after a few times doing the web form)

Same way doing the form gives you the latest; it's what the form links to after you fill it in. It's not inconceivable that they might obfuscate the direct link just to bug us more though :)

    Try it tomorrow and compare.
