Any help would be great! They are now saying I wont get my redundancy when they said!

I am currently in my last few days now of work.
And today I said just in passing oh I cant wait for payday it will be great to pay the last of my wedding off, with that my line manager said Oh I dont think you will get your redundancy with this pay? So I rang payroll up and they said that they where not even aware that we were being made redundant so no pay?? I then started panic mode I rang HR and they said oh no you are definately getting it. So I said when (the breifly remembered that I had the last minutes from the meeting and grabbed them out. It clearly says that We where all getting 2mths pay at the end of March.)
Now they are saying I may not get it until end of April. I really need to pay the last few bits on my wedding off which I had planned to do with the money. (I have another job to go to after elsewhere)
Can they do this to us (there are 5 of us in total in the same position)
Any help or advice would be great.
