help needed! (about cameras!)

Hiya folks, just after your expert advice please! i have always had sony cybershot cameras, my last one being the 12.1mp version,
My handbag was rudely stolen with my camera and all the rest of my worldley possesions last week so im after a replacement.

can any one recommend a good camera around the £150 mark, i love my camera and take a picture of my daughter everyday! so would like high quality pics and pics in the dark, my only other specification is it has to be a compact not slr!

been looking at the these, can anyone help me? and give me some advice! thanks in advance x

for £150 you will get a decent enough camera. You might also want to consider an IXUS or an exilim. Are there any particular must have features on the camera, such as a decent optical zoom or such like?

thanks for your reply, i took a risk and i brought the olympus mju7030 14mp today, seems to be ok, thanks for trying to help thou i appreciate it x x
