Halifax home insurance -dont use

i have moved into my first house and as halifax were what I thought was a good well know brand I took out there home insurance when i got the house. I was flooded on the 22nd december and it is now the 23rd march and my house is no different than it was the day after it happened:mad: other than having what can only be known as two desktop fans in my house to dry it out apparently altho dehumidifers should be needed i feel.

I have been passed from halifax to a company on behalf of halifax called crawfords on and on over the past three months I have been lied to again and again by all companies involved and see no light at the end of the tunnel when told they will call me back they dont! when i ask them for information they cant find my address let alone anything else. I was also told that they were awaiting a report to be sent to them this was the 1st of feb then a week later they said they hadnt received it yet when I asked for the same report received it in 10 MINS


AVOID HALIFAX AND CRAWFORDS if you have any dealings with these I suggest you change insurance companys and sharp.
