Price of electricity

I've got a bit of a dilema - we've just had an extension built on the back of the rented house we're in. It's nearly all done now but throughout the time the builders have plugged everything into our mains.....The landlord has said he'll pay the extra electricity but will need a comparison of bills.
We pay by DD monthly and it's all done online so I have no actual bills to show him, also with the cost of the electricity rising from this time last year how can I give him an accurate figure?
They've been here over 3 months now - they've left cement mixers running all day - plugged all their rechargable drills etc into charge at night.....any ideas on what you think would be a fair price to ask for?
I know it's a shot in the dark - just wondered if anyone knew where to start.

If you log in online is there no option to print an invoice out? It might be worth checking in to that.- Matthew - Yep I'm new here

You should surely be able to do what MatthewN suggests. When you get the figure for the comparable period of time simply add on the percentage increase in the cost of electricity since then and you should have a roughly accurate figure for what you would normally have used, the LL then owes you the difference..?0
