Worrall Thompson strikes again...

We were given a present a couple of years ago of a set of Anthony Worrall Thompson cooking pans by my grandparents who have both since died.
The pans bubbled on the copper bottoms and moulded to match the hob shape - we now have a different hob so they won't sit flat on the cooker surface! We have contacted the company as there is a ten year warranty with the pans (which we have details of) but they say they can't do anything as they don't make this type of pan any more, and that we need to go to the place of purchase.
Since we don't know where this is, have no receipt and the only people to ask are no more, we're stuck! They would have been expensive... It seems a bit unfair not to honour the warranty.
Any ideas anyone?

That sounds ridiculous - "we offer a 10 year warranty unless we stop making them in the meantime?" I'd go back to them and try and get them to honour the warranty - if that means replacing them with a set of pans they do make, then so be it. Given you have no receipt and weren't the buyer then this is probably your only option. They would have been expensive...0 -
Why not try contacting Anthony Worrall Thompson. The pans have his name on them. I'm sure he wouldn't want to be associated with a company that acts in this way. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0
