Advice on regular train travel

So is there anyway to get cheaper tickets from twi-red without buying a daily ticket? No travel cards/discount you know of can help at all?
If it's a 16-25 railcard, you can use it before 10am, but a minimum fare of £12.
So save a few pence each day.
But it will cost £26 per year... reducing the saving further.
But in July and August that min fare before 10am does not apply.
So travel then for £8.45 a day.0 -
Thanks but sadly i'm over 25
Think i can only use the network rail card but thats no good to me as you can't use it at peak times.0 -

For a season ticket try getting a price for Twickenham-Staines and Staines-Reading. The 1st ticket gets you outside zone 6 so it may be cheaper that way.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.
4 Credit Card and 1 Loan PPI claims settled for £26k, 1 rejected (Opus).0 -
Twickenham-Staines is
£28.30 - 7 Day
£108.70 - 1 month
£1132 - 1 year
Staines-Reading is
£66.70 - 7 day
£256.20 - 1 month
£2668 - 1 year
This isn't an option as a monthly would be £364.90 which is way more than a direct season ticket.0
