years ago i stayed at the travelodge in didsbury in manchester and it was pretty bleak. haven't been back since tbh, although the newer ones do look a lot better than the drab, falling apart place i stayed! i'm sure by now it will have had a facelift as well.:happyhear0

I agree with you about this particular one, but I have never had a bad experience in any of the Edinburgh ones.
the one in rose street (quite a new one) stinks.... its just above a fish cafe and the whole place (or plaice? lol) smells of fish. They were aware of the problem but could do nothing. Had to go bu air freshener0
