Right, so the only thing I need to do is ask payroll why I have an Unpd Hol of 7.75 on my payslip.
I've been maticulous of my holiday dates and am sure this should not have happened.0 -
Well thanks everyone for the help. Looks like not providing all the information could have saved everyone a whole lot of headache.

As advised your problem lies with your gross pay and only your payroll dept can sort that out for you. When you see them it would be as well just to check your tax code to see if the 1 on your payslip is for month 1 (it is possible it refers to something else) Your tax paid is almost exactly correct for code 647L so if you were on a month 1 code you must have been on it all year. The only problem that might arrise is if you should be on a different code if for example you get any taxable benefit from your employer. As I say may not be the case but worth checking.0

Cheers, I've never known about tax codes or what they mean, apart from the 647 means the 6475 tax band allowance.0

How was anyone meant to be able to answer your question without understanding the full picture?loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0 -
Because I had no idea how bonuses work. I didn't know it would need other factors to generate it's value. I was under the presumption that a lump sum at the end of a year £232 would only be affected by the Tax and NI of that so around 30%. I've never had a bonus so never expected all the drama associated with it.
As said in my last post, thanks everyone consider the matter closed.0
