Hi All,
My niece has a BB Bold I think, and it thinks that it's Alt key is pressed. The keyboard has already been replaced so it's not the actual key itself - just something appears to have gone wrong elsewhere. She now can't put in a password or anything to unlock it because the BB thinks this key is "pressed" and can't connect it up to the pc as it tells her to put in her password on the handset before she proceeds! Any ideas folks?
TIA

If you've installed the BlackBerry Manager software, the password prompt should appear on the PC screen, not the handset.
I assume it's not under manufacturer's warranty?0 -

Right, she only got the handset in August last year so assume she is covered under the manufacturers warranty - any ideas how we go about claiming against this?
