First Direct internet banking

I moved to FD fairly recently, for various reasons:
  • Its reputation for good service
  • Support for faster payments with a sensible daily limit
  • The £100 joining bonus
  • Being fed up with Nationwide
However, I've noticed several times now that when I try to do things like transfers with their online banking I keep getting the "Sorry, but we cannot action your request at the moment" mesage. I logged on this morning with the intention of making several transfers. I made one successfully, but it now won't let me make any more.

It's not like this is a one-off, and I'm really starting to get fed up with it. Is anyone else getting this problem?

Only once had a problem and it was a "one-off"

Give them a call to see what is going on, the do tend to be very helpful.

Must admit I hate the FD internet banking. Had to open the account along with the mortgage and would have switched completely were it not for the internet banking which I find slow and clunky. Much prefer Barclays internet banking.
