Hi folks, it would be great to hear what you think of this - should hopefully help with working out the cheapest card now that the 0% deals have gone huge!

  • This tool is useful for people who use one 0% card then leave the debt there.
For me, I've got a debt on a 0% card which is coming to the end, and I'm looking to move it to another 0% card. When that finishes, I'll look to move it again. So typical APRs don't matter to me (much).
I'm more interested in how long the 0% lasts, how much I'll be charged up front, and how much I have to repay pm.
Your 'best' 0% card, Barclaycard Platinum, has a minimum repayment of 2.25% of balance pm. Yes, it'll pay off quicker than my current 1% of balance card, but I simply can't afford it (on £3k, that's £37.50pm which I don't have).
I suppose what I want is %fee/months, somehow taking into account the minimum payment.
Oh, and my current card doesn't allow fixed repayments, only minimum or total. Do these cards?
