in Credit cards
Hi,
I am currently wedding planing and trying to make sure that I get my spending right.
I have 2 cards currently:
- Tesco - 0% on purchases until June 11 - £5,000 on card (limit £6,000)
- Sainsburys - 0% on purchases until Dec 11 - £3,300 on card (limit £4,000)
I am paying monthly between £500 and £1000 pound but will need to pay one more lump sum of £3,500 in May.
If I try and balance transfer these 2 balance to a new card now (to ensure I get a card with a good limit) will the Sainsburys card still allow me to use the 0% to pay off the £3,500 in May and obviously clear before the end of the 0% in Dec.
Csn anyone help. I don't want to have to merge all this into a loan.
The biggest pain in all this is I have drawn up a personal cashflow chart and will have it all paid easily by next May with regular payments. I just need to ensure free credit where I can.
Thanks to anyone who can help!!
J

Do you mean you have another £3,500 purchase to make? Then yes, as long as you have available limit on the Sainsbury's card, you can keep using it for 0% purchases until December,0

Yeah apologies that was meant to say I have another purchase.
i wanted to make sure that this would not cause a problem to me by shutting down the cards and stopping my 0%.
Thanks for all you help!0
