Def use bullet points, but vary it for your CV. Having the whole CV bullet pointed ain't a good idea!

Another vote for bullet points. If you want to demonstrate you can write grammatical sentences, you can do so in a covering letter or email.

Agree with that - and it's quite easy to demonstrate a reasonable vocabulary even in short bullets.

The purpose of your CV is to get you an interview, so 1st of all demonstrate that you meeet the criteria for the job, then use the remaining space to show how you exceed them and would be an asset to the company. Overly long descriptive sentences (like the one I've just typed) take up valuable space that would be better used telling them how ace you are.

    • In bullet points, obv.:)

Bullet Points are essential for a CV in today's job market. Employers will have more applications to filter through given the economic climate and shortage of jobs.

Stick to 2 pages tops, show some fanciness/creativity without going over the top, stick to a solid font and use the right font size. If you want to be more descriptive, don't write a CV.

The general rule of thumb was to always give the viewer a snapshot of your profile that you can further elaborate on in an interview. Think of a Sharon stone in Basic Instinct - It was all about the snapshot of the Krum that got people talking and rewinding 10 times. Nobody was interested in a long boring shot of BigFoot.

Glad I could be of assistance. Feel free to pass these onto your kids when they come of age. With the support of BluRay technology, it can't get any more clearer.
