I have got an Acer E300 sat nav which I have not used for a while. It appears to have lost all its maps. Unfortunately I have lost my CD and instruction manual. Does anyone know if there is any way of getting the maps uploaded again?

I find the manufacturers website is a good place to start
ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/handheld/e300/software/
You want the latest version of Destinator, and you also want the file called "Navigation.zip" (that's the maps).
If you want the manual, that's at ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/handheld/e300/manual/ (it's the top link).Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0 -
Not sure what to do with Navigation.zip: tried unzipping it onto the SD card, but not recognised. The application in the Destinator zip file doesn't run on the desktop. Any other suggestions please?0
