Sun £15 hols starting this saturday

it's an hours drive from Disneyland Paris so can do a daytrip ( the site offers coach trips to Disney and to Paris too)

We go via Eurotunnel ( using tesco clubcard deals )

We have been 3 times with the Sun holidays ( first 2 times was Eurocamp accom and last time was Siblu)

yeah but the European sites always work out cheap with the Sun
Butlins and Haven etc in school hols / peak time are stupidly expensive / overpriced!

i agree to an extent it is overpriced, but you get what you pay for, as i have already said previously, i worked at the minehead butlins for about 8 years and could not understand what the fuss was about, but since having kids, and going to haven/warner/parkdean/pontins, and then finally managing to get bognor butlins through the sun, you can certainly see what the difference is, butlins is night and day compared to the rest

I'd definitely give the John Fowler sites a miss, knowing what they (don't) clean their sites with.

I couldn't agree more. We could have a week abroad for the same price as peak season Butlins.
I'd only ever go on a deal, special offer Sun holiday etc.

which is madness isn't it! I know which i'd prefer lol !

My kids love Butlins <sigh> and i am ok with it ....once I get there.... if they are happy then i'm happy

actually they haven't asked to go for a few years.... so maybe they prefer France etc too now!
