How long before the due date did you pay the bill, and I am assuming this wasnt by DD?
Can I find out my credit score?
You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)
  • your being charged interest between statement and payment.

classic credit card !!!!!!!!. This has caught me out time and time again.

It wasn't by DD but they got the payment on 28feb and the due date wasn't until 10th March!

This is annoying because It was the end of my 0% interest free period so i thought I'd pay it all off i full!

    I'm annoyed

So what am i missing, why did they charge interest?
  • You haven't told us the date of the end of the 0% period. This may not be the same as your statement date or the payment-due date.

I'm not sure of the exact date but i guess it would of been around 22nd feb-28th feb?

Thing is this was my last statement so i presumed if i paid the full balance then that would be it?

Purchases 0.000% £ 0.00 £ 2,644.75 which was due by the 10th of march and i paid it off on the 28th feb?

    If you can clarify this?

Say for arguments sake your 0% ended on the 22nd and they got the payment on the 28th you would of been paying interest from 22nd until payment cleared with them for x amount of days.

Depending on the provider (who is it by the way?), the exact 0% end date should have been on at least one* of your recent statements.

    * Halifax/BoS print it on all your statements.

In a nutshell?...You're sailing blind in not knowing the end of promotion date.

Next time you call to activate a credit card have the following checklist to hand (and then file it with your other account documentation for safe keeping)...
