The real answer is, probably, don’t eat or drink whilst using your netbook –although I don’t recall an actual spillage. However, it is too late for that and now my space bar and the character keys above it are quite unresponsive without a good whack and/or stick down giving me multiple letters/spaces.
Any ideas? I have tried blasting them with the compressed air which helped a little bit. You have no idea how long it has taken me to type this! Apologies therefore if subsequent responses are brief.

possibly only answer is to source a 2nd hand one off ebay and do a swap
some "switch Cleaner" may help.......
