Does anyone have an idea where I start to look for trips in scandinavia in may/june 2007?
I am interested in all over scandinavia but definately including whale watching etc.
I believe its also the right time of year for the midnight sun....
Any help appreciated.

I don't know of any trips, but I travelled around Norway in May/June this year and had a great time...and yes it is the time of the midnight sun in the north anyway. Really bizarre walking around in bright sunshine at 1am in the morning!
Be warned that Norway is very expensive but depending on your budget, I'd recommend a visit to Svalbard (Spitsbergen) which is between Norway and the North Pole...you may even see a polar bear if you're lucky!
I kept a journal with photos if you're interested: https://www.travelpod.com/members/rich

p.s. whale watching can be done on trips from Tromso in the north of Norway. No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30 -

Been to finland in late april, stayed in akaslompolo, (Akaslompolo Hotel, log cabin) which was beautiful. Its about 200miles inside the arctic circle and still had plenty of snow when we went.
It can be a bit expensive but it is definately cheaper when you go outside the main package tourist times. We flew from Heathrow to Helsinki and took a 2nd connecting flight to Kittila. Bus journey from here was about 20 mins.
They had wild reindeer that came upto your cabin door which was magical. Our DD is almost 2 and we will definately be going back in the next two years.I had a plan..........its here somewhere.0
