    Many thanks for the posts...:T

but I find it very difficult to track which competitions I have been entry or not.
(The Rule - Maximum of one entry per person per prize draw. Bulk or third-entry parties are not accepted)

I do not want to create any bothersome to any MSErs, I think it will be lot easier for us if we create PER post PER competitons from ASDA so as we MSErs can click ENTRY button to each competitons which may make easy to track and not duplicate entry??

    What you all think? :j

Personally i would prefer it like it is - i keep track of the ones i have entered by using the thanks button for the competitions added in addition to the ones in the OP. Posting them singularly would mean a lot of extra work for the OP, and also you have to enter using the same form so it would be more wasted time for the entrant as well.
However, if others prefer them seperately im happy to go with the majority.

Hi,I take your comments on board.Sometimes when posting comps it is hard to keep all happy. We all seem to desire varying formats & styles. Some know to watch the tick boxes or would like all the same comps in one post eg on the Dennis comps etc.
The style that I use on the Asda comps has in the main been lifted from the much missed MJ38's style.
Rightly or wrongly I find that it works well & seems to be OK with most on here.I keep a regular check on the comp as it runs & update when needed.
I think that if you have cookies enabled the site will show any new comps & what you have entered.
    Cheers

i struggle with these and thus mainly dont enter them because i cant tell form the op or the website which comps i entered last month, so have to hunt down the old thread to check on it, not all the duplicate comps get mentioned in the new thread (though you do try), more comps get added after the op has gone up, and by the time i get to entering if i come by end date i find some of those in the op have vanished totally.

its anew thread each month so i cant subscribe and track new posts like i do for the tab and puzzler threads which have similar issues with comps needing to be cross checked against previous posts etc.

so id prefer them as new post for each individual comp or one ongoing thread which can easily be followed and checked back to previous issues. i know you link to the previous thread weeowens but generally if i am entering its the night before the published end date when i do end date comps....hence trying to navigate between two threads, with different and same comps and others that have ended already is time consuming and irksome. not your fault, and not everyone feels the same i know.

just my opinion for what its worth :)

eta: there are 17 comps on the entry form today. a few mentioned in the op here, at least one in the op here i cant see on the entry form at all. and ive entered now for april, so will make sure i skip may so i dont duplicate any entries when next i enter as i ahve no way of knowing what was on the entry form from last month, what is new and what has been added since this post went up :rotfl:

No problem at all.As I say we all seem to desire different things from the board.
When you state "not all the duplicate comps get mentioned in the new thread (though you do try)" I'm not 100% what you mean as on the new comp post I just try & post the new comps with a link back to the previous post.
I find that if I go to enter for any new comps it only shows the unentered comps.
If the style of posting that use is disliked by the majority I am more than willing to cease any further posting from this domain & let someone else continue in the style that the concensus favours.
    Cheers for the comments.
