Hello geeks,
Can anyone point me to an Idiots guide to turning my unused Xbox into a PVR/DVR without using a PC? Or is there a magical cable/widget I can buy that will perform the same function?
I'm not interested in streaming as my broadband is too slow - just want to record broadcasts.
Thanks.

You can't record with the Xbox, end of.
The only way you can get media on to the Xbox is either through USB stick, over your network, or copying from CD/DVD.Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0 -
I think your only option is using windows media centre to record and then play over the network
obviously that depends on your PC specs/network0
