I am thinking about getting the MBNA credit card giving 1.5% cashback, as posted on this website. Is anyone able to tell me whether American Express offer the same protection as visa, with regards the purchases you make with the card?

    Yes, it doesn't matter if it's Visa, Mastercard, or Amex...they all offer section 75 protection and chargeback.
