beko fridge freezer

i bought a beko fridge freezer april 2009 and its not working fridge not working at all freezer somtimes, i have had it re gassed 2 times still not working.i did not take out extended warrinty because i really expected a fridge to last more than 20 months i phoned beko who said i was really unlucky but no help .iphoned littlewoods and the same answer was given,, is it right that i have a case as the fridge did not last as long as one would expect can enybody help me please?
