Laptop trade in?

Will any store do a trade in on my 2 year old laptop? I dont want to sell it on ebay cos it has an intermittent problem.

Sometimes the battery will not charge ... I had it checked out and the tekkie sold me a new charger, but its not made any difference. I wont be going back to that computer shop!

Usually a battery problem, they don't last forever, or the power connector on the motherboard is loose.

Try running without battery, and wiggle connector, make sure you have backups in case it switches off and corrupts the OS.

That's why I took it into a computer repair shop ... but they said it wasnt the connection and it wasnt the battery ... I dont want to spend any more money getting it "repaired" ...

You can still sell it on eBay as long as you declare the problem. Plenty of people will still buy it on that basis, as it's an easy fix for someone with a soldering iron who knows how to strip down a laptop.
