I've stayed at the Thistle Marble Arch which is nice and is just behind Oxford Street, so handy for shopping if thats what you want to do.

  • Do you have a budget in mind or is it just anything?

Although I have never used it for actually booking, Lastminute.com might have some deals for you.

  • Sofitel St James is very nice, I'm staying there myself tommorow with the better half as a treat'.

There beds are probably the comfiest beds you will ever sleep on. Lovely rooms and very very central.
Have fun where ever you end up.

  • I stayed in the Waldorf Hilton, near covent garden, a few months ago. It was very nice, although not really an MSE hotel (technically it was, as it was free using Hilton points i'd gathered on business trips).

It was the nicest hilton i've stayed at - quite different to the normal run of the mill ones (Hilton are one of the most over rated chains i know)

I'd recommend doing a search on venere.com - really helpful website with lots of good maps/reviews, and reasonable prices too (which you also don't have to pay in advance)

    Hope that helps
