It is such a shame. Have you noticed they've edited their copied post and put thanks to you? I would have commented on there, but as you said, all the posts are being deleted.

You are a star hunnie, and I am another one which wouldn't be able to enter these. My local shop doesn't stock the puzzle books.

I've actually added the 'with thanks to...' comments to make sure people know that replay's answers have been lifted from here.

I'm afraid the user is removing all of these messages in order to con people into believing they bought the magazines and worked out the puzles.

the posts that were taken from this thread have now all been deleted,
big thanks to painkiller who repeatedly kept editing the posts with the
'Thanks to xxxx on MSE who bought the magazine & did the puzzles' not just on mine but on every single one from all the contributors who post them on here,
thanks all of you again for your pm's of support & replys,
the person involved has also sent me an apology pm.

Glad you seem to happier about the situation firefly and I am sure your efforts are much appreciated by your friends on here.

I have to say though that as part of a comping community everyone is looking for new opportunities to enter and of course if the answers are on another forum (or findable in google which a lot of answers are.......) then of course they will be posted somewhere and the OP takes credit.

You are either of the mindset to share your answers and post on open internet forums such as this one or you are not. If you are not then why not just buy the magazine do the puzzles and enter? Sorry I just don't get why anyone would think something that is posted on MSE Competitions is unusable by others. I am sure lots of people buy the magazine and hope to win from their efforts which of course is what the magazine would actually really want.

Can i just add a question to those complaining about duplication........have you ever found a comp on another board with an answer and posted it here? If you have then surely this is the same thing. The internet is about information wherever you get it from if you don't like people using your information then stop posting it on the net.
