Talk Talk BB and Phone Package

Hi,

Having just switched my Gas/Electric from UW i now have my sights on the Phone and BB.

Just done a comparison and the TalkTalk package below is much much cheaper than anything else. Infact it seems to cheap so i wanted to ask if i am missing anything with this ie. it does cover the BB, phone line rental and all calls to UK landlines?

I currently pay over £30 for these so this is quite a big saving. Just want to make sure i haven't missed anything with this deal.

    Sorry Sooler but I disagree.

I've been with Talk Talk for more than a year and had very few issues. I also recommended them to family and several friends and they're more than happy as well. Perhaps I've just been lucky?

My monthly bill is normally about £25/month, this includes line rental, broadband + free calls after 7pm weekday (used to be 6pm!) .. and probably at weekends (not 100% sure)

I've just signed up with TalkTalk for unlimited broadband, line rental and unlimited 24/7 landline calls all for £19.79/month.

Sounds too good to be true... I just hope it's not. They have quoted me 19 days before the service goes live though (I move house in 7 days so I'll have to struggle without broadband for nearly 2 weeks!)
There is no excuse for rudeness. Ignorance on the other hand is excusable – you don’t know what you’re talking about.
  • I signed up to TalkTalk broadband and phone after the recommendation made on this site - WHAT A JOKE. They didn't bother to tell my old broadband provider so I now have two broadband providers, their call staff consistently tell me I'm on a different package and the broadband connection crashes repeatedly. I'm off back to O2. AVOID TALK TALK AND THE ADVICE GIVEN ON HERE.

    REALLY, REALLY ANGRY.

  • @deano72 - I'm off to O2 for both broadband and phone. They'll give me both for £7.50, I have an O2 mobile. Personally I wouldn't touch Sky with a bargepole; don't trust Murdoch or any of his family.

    And this includes line rental?
  • They seem like Marmite although, having looked at some other threads, most seem to give bad reviews about TT.

I'm currently speaking to BT about having calls, BB, TV etc with them now. Difficult decisions though having heard some of the horror stories about people on here who have moved services. Not unhappy with my current provider but i'm paying far too much and they won't reduce it.
