I went to Napier, no normal person from Glasgow actually gets into Edinburgh - that's reserved for locals, english kids and people who went to private school.
Now, that's a bit of a lie.
My best friend is from a very working class family with little financial resources.
He went to a state school in Glasgow and because he studied hard, he was able to attain the grades required to apply for (and be accepted) to study Medicine at Edinburgh.0 -

They weren't able to magic up enough money for the 10,000 extra police that they promised the last time people were foolish enough to vote for them, so why anyone believes that they will fund the money for education is a mystery to me!0
