Redundancy Insurance

My husband has a cover with our mortgage people that means in the result of redundancy, after 3 months they will take over the payment of the mortgage. He pays for this facility and it is available for him as he is down as the owner of the house.
However, I am not down on the mortgage papers (we got together after he bought the house) and am therefore not covered. Does anyone know of a similar insurance that I can take out that would do the same thing if something happend to my job?

Unemployment cover has gone up in price recently... no prizes for guessing why :P
I dont know many people that sell unemployment cover really, but i think you may struggle if you dont pay rent or a mortgage.
Ive just had a quick look on google as its probably an idea that i read up on it myself, but take a look at:

Are you in a job that has a likely hood of you being made redundant?
You could also do a search for ASU (Accident, Sickness, Unemployment) cover, but it has limits it will only pay out for 12 or 24 months max.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I would hope that my job is not under threat but nowadays you do not know and I would prefer to be covered, just in case. I will review the two websites you have recommended and see what I can arrange.0
