Had baby nettles as my green veg with dinner : )
Picked them with rubber gloves on. Rinsed them with boiling water (to get rid of the sting), rinsed them in cold water to get rid of any soil, boiled them and served them with butter - truly yummy : )

So that's another £1k added to my debt mountain (near enough)

Could you not get a refund for it since you just bought it yesterday and already realise you shouldn't have bought it??? Might be worth trying :)

Ugh, I am shattered after 2 days commuting to London. I don't know how people do it all the time - I guess they are either younger than me (not difficult) or else have a wife to do all the other stuff :rotfl:

    Today:
Dashed to doctors first thing for yearly check up - I have a minor version of a long term condition and they won't let me have my meds unless I go once a year to be moaned at about needing to lose weight :o

Dashed to station just in time to miss train

Dashed to post office to post DGD's birthday present and last few invitations to DD2's wedding now I have finally managed to prise them off off her

Dashed back to station and got train to work :j

    Rushed into meeting :j

Rushed back to station to get a train for other meeting

Hold ups on tube as well :(

Destination full of tourists making it difficult to get where I needed to be (no, I haven't been visiting the Queen :rotfl:)

Stroppy security, uncomfortable seats and no loos (apparently) but at least there was coffee :j

Trains back messed up because of some problem in Wales :(

Not back home till after 7 AGAIN

    Apart from that -:

Bought sandwich for lunch instead of taking my own due to so much rushing about :(

Also succumbed to a camomile tea and a chocolate muffin at station on the way home when the train was delayed :o

Managed to declutter a clothes drawer this morning though before this total rat race :D Bits for charity and less to move later this year when we move back into our house :j

    OH cooked dinner :A

That is about it - rubbish :o
  • went the cinema to see limitless with a free code from heat magazine, not a bad film, and i resisted the urge for sweets so a free night out for me

If people havnt looked have a look on the freebies board and you can see codes and tickets for films, theatre etc might be something in your area and a free night out is always very helping to keep the debt down and boost the mood
